The food products from China that contains Formalin have created a scare to a lot of people in my country. Though not all were yet found to contain formalin, people just stop buying products made in china. I personally don't buy food products made in china because when I smell it, it smells like with a kerosene/gas in it. Would you still buy made in China?

China is known for cheap products but they seem to emphasize more on quantity rather than on quality. It can be understandable since they are the most populous country in the world. They have to produce more and more in order to feed their people. In my opinion, quality control in their manufacturers should now be done more strictly.
I am just thinking, though. Why all of those "matters" (i.e., dog foods, etc) are happening now? Why didn't such things happen in the past? Isn't it because of trade competitions? As you already know, China's products can be found around the world. Or it is just because of human errors? It is like other products (i.e., toys made by Fisher -- contain leads).
