For most of my files, I use mediafire.com. They offer unlimited storage, up to 100 MB per file. You can also make them publicly available, with links that go directly to the files you host.
If you need to store files larger than 100 MB, you could use Xdrive. AOL offers 5 GB of free Xdrive storage. I'm not sure what their filesize limit is, but I keep a backup image of my WinPE disc there, which is 618 MB. A couple of my friends have downloaded it from me. With Xdrive, you can send randomly generated links that expire after 7 days.

My advice is use Pendrive instead of searching for new sites for storing files. Use pendrive whereever you need and keep in pocket. how far secure that sites is, with your files, i doubt. so i recommended using pen drive althrough not possible everywhere but it is secure as site owner may change with their policies but pen drive is urs and is in ur pocket.

I have been using the www.hotlinkfiles.com for storing my files including videos and photos so I can retrieve them anytime and anywhere using the internet.
You can use the HOTLINKFILES
1. To store files online. Your hard disk on the net.
2. Hot linking allowed for all files!
3. To share documents, videos, photos, music, and more on the web!
4. Backup important digital and media data.
5. To get access your files from anywhere. Private folder supported.
6. Stream your audio and video for MySpace, Xanga, Friendster,
In general, you can upload files, store files, link files with HOTLINKFILES. It's that easy. It has 50Mb maximum upload size for every file. You can start by registering an account with them.

I recommend http://www.box.net and http://www.4shared.com
However, the best solution to this, I believe, is to use a USB flash drive as others suggested. You can buy some of them for as low as $20, and they're very small and convenient to carry.

I don't know any sites to store files. I use my email as a portable space on the internet. I have about a gigabyte of space. When I need them, I just download it from my email. The only problem with this is that I can't save large files. From what I know, websites that allow you to upload large files, require you to pay certain amount of fees. I think they might also allow other people to download your files. This is why emails are better, at least it is secure.

I personally use a 2GB flashdrive to carry all the files I need (they make them in 4GB and 8GB as well).
Also if you need important stuff kept you can use a free e-mail account that will give you usually a gig.
Also check out http://www.ftplive.com. I don't know exactly what their service does but it might be able to help you.
