I absolutly, positivly hate moving. We are finishing moveing today, ughh. This is the 4th time I have moved in 4 years, and I'm not even a military spouse. Oh well, hopefully this will be the last time for awhile. Enough whinning, back to work.

I'm hearing ya kristy, I'm moving currently too, and it SUCKSSSSS!! Not only the packing, cleaning, tossing, but then having to repeat it when you un pack! AH! It's torturous. But hopefully, like you, this will be the last time for at least a few years.

my brother in law and sister in law (hubbys brother) move every 5 years and no they are not a military family, they just figure they need new surroundings...moving is a great way to keep clutter to a minimum tho!

Moving is a great way to get rid of clutter, each time we move I get rid of more and more stuff. You know how when you get married you get all kinds of things you really don't want and need? I had kept that kind of stuff for a long time out of obligation, but during this last move I have finally gotten rid of a lot of it.

Years ago, we were very lucky to buy an apartment in the town centre, where near my work and supermarket. During my 1-hour lunch break, I can do a bit of shopping or cleaning or preparing supper. I don’t want to move, as I can find nowhere better than where I am currently living. LOL

I know how you fell because my family used to move a lot too... It's terrible because of all mess you have to organize and because it makes hard to get in touch with your old friends But it's also something nice if you try to find a good side for this situation... You meet new people and make new friends Now I'm at the same place for 5 years, this is our record hahahaha Because we used to stay in the same house only for 1 year or 2

change is the only constant thing in this world. Moving is change. some people move a lot, travel much. but i do agree that moving can be very stressful and tiring.
