How many times a dog can be bath a week?

Well to get bath a puppy twice a week is very uncomfortable situation, because the dogs are not habituated to get wet. Bathing a dog more then once a month or fortnight has some bad effects. 1. The digestive system of Dogs get disturbed by the frequent bathing 2. The Dogs are very anxious animals they only get wet themselves when they need to get rid of the excessive body heat when it is not possible by the panting process they carry on after a run or in high temperature days. But if you are concerned about the hygiene of animal then once in fortnight is enough and daily you can always use the talcum powder that is medicated so that it doesn't catch germs. If you puppy often lies on the dusty floor then a wet sponging is recommended with some medicated solutions add on like Dettol or Savlon or some solutions having the quartenary ammonium compounds. This wet sponging can be carried out on alternate days.

You should never bath you dog more than once in a fortnight. Any more than that it starts to strip the natural oils from their skin and coat that they need for insulation. It also can start to lead to problems like skin conditions eczema and much worse..

when your puppy is very dirty it needs to bath it.

You should only bath a dog 2 times a month. Or if they get really dirty..like rolled in the mud. Dogs have natural oils in there skin and if you bath them too much you remove these oils. Use a good shampoo like Oatmeal, or aloe vera with lanoline. They are good for the dogs coat.

I don't really know if it's ok to bath them as much as you want. I have a 2.5 akitadog and we give him a bath only once a month.

i dont have any idea..but my dad bath our dog maybe 4 times a week and he also brushes his teeth. yah my dad is kinda weird hahahaha
