I am a gastritis patient. I took Nexium for two weeks before, twice each day. However, as I stopped taking it, my acidity slowly increased again. Therefore, I switched to a diet which is low in acidity.
Try not taking fatty foods, juices, coffee, hot chocolate, and sodas. Also, be aware of fruits and vegetables that are highly acidic (tomatoes, pineapples, oranges and the like are examples).

I have an acidity problem. I had an endoscope etc which was normal. I'm almost normal now. I eat my food more regularly and dont lie down after I eat. I take Omeprazole twice a day.
I avoid coffee to a large extent. thats just about what helped me!

Yes me too, I also have these. but on occasion, Like if im on stress very much. My last attack was before 5 months ago. I remember i'm doing a set ups because i want to have a six pack abs he he he. but suddenly i have pain on the middle of stomach and that started i lose weight, until i got hospitalized.
doctor gave me prevacid which is quite effective that medications I used before. Right now im looking for alternative medicines that could help me prevent again those attacks.
They said that an apple before taking sleep at night is helpful. I hope theres more people to post here for more ideas so to prevent this disease.

Gastritis is something that's very hard to treat. You take acid blockers, it goes away, you stop taking medications, it again comes back. So, I don't think taking ayurvedic medicines to treat gastritis is a good idea. Change your food habits, exercise regularly, do some yogas that are good for your stomach, and if gastritis still persists, take ayurvedic medicines, because taking allopathic medicines for a long period of time has some side effects on your body, whereas ayurvedic medicines pose no side effects.
