Hi Eric Chen....im from Liverpool in the UK and we have the largest Chinese and oldest Chinese community in Europe.My daughters friend Steff Fu is second generation from Hong Kong.There are lots of people in Liverpool and Manchester origanally from Hong KOng but i dont think there are many from mainland China.
We know China has been communist state for long long time and we know that it is a vast country with a long history and amazing civilisation.. i have seen some photos of China countryside and it is indeed beautiful and your cities ..so many people!!! Shanghai being a port was a twin town with Liverpool back in the 19702.I dont know if it is now.The terracotta army is being displayed in London in the Autumn .I was talking to a lady the other day who cnat wait to see it.Which part of China are you from ..country or city..and are you student? Of course you wil,have the OLYMPICS next year so we all look forwsrd to that ..Im sure Beijing will be great venue.. wish i could go but it is too much money for me...!!! sad... hope many Chinese Athletes win !

I am very glad meet you at here and you know too much things about China!China has been communist state from 1949.Shanghai is a very big and import city of China.I come from Chengdu on west of inland,which is very beautiful city...I am not student but a software engineer .Yeah,The 2008's OLYMPICS is on beijing,Welcome to Beijing,Thank you gratulation!!!
