Who's on top form when it comes on writing a crime detective novel?

Who's writing would you prefer to read? Erle Stanley Gardner, Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie are three of the most popular ones, also on the field are the likes of Dorothy Syaer, Margery Allingham, Pd James, Carolyn Hart.. I personally thinks that Agatha Christie's work are the most interesting and satisfying to read.. Do you guys agree?

agatha christie is the best among these writers IMO.i have not read much stories from others (except doyle)but i find christie's works more interesting:).

yeah i agree, she could deliver the final denouement with such an intensity that would make ur jaw dropped. She is one of a kind. =)

My favorite work of hers would be murder of roger ackroyd, and then there were none, evil under the sun, cards on the table and crooked house..
