Rico, the dog with a vocabulary of over 200 words!!

So I was watching animal planet the other night and they were showing a border collie named Rico that lives in Germany. This dog is as smart as a toddler and can learn the name of an object and then remember it later. Its really really amazing. Honestly, I have always believed animals are smarter than people give them credit for. I can't paste any links to stories about Rico here, but if you will search "rico" "200 words" in a search engine you should get the articles. What do you think about this? Have you known animals are smarter than people admit, or do you think there is no way this is possible?

That's so wonderful. Yes, I believe it. I think animals are alot smarter than most people give them credit for. I truly believe that my pets, at least most of them, understand most of what I say to them. Sometimes, so much, that it scares me. lol

I am not an animal person, but I do however agree that "we", people, don't give animals as much credit for being as smart as they are.
