No Beach for Me!

I was suppose to be at the beach this weekend! BUT my company messed up my paycheck which resulted in me not getting paid at all on Friday. The companies payroll said I should be expecting pay on Tuesday! Tuesday.....wow a whole weekend is going by...not to mention the only weekend I have off until SEPTEMBER!!!!! Anyway I wanted to tell the whole MyLot about this. Share your thoughts please.

I used to work for a bank too and the same thing happened to me once. That is so irritating. Especially when you have plans for your money. And it seems so incompetent for a bank to have to take so long to get you your money. Sorry bout your plans.

Of course that's who I work for incompetent embazzles...luckily for me a have a job interview on Thurs. ka-chow!!!!

Who does the payroll for your company..That really hurts when you are planning to spend it on your only weekend off..youch!

I've talked to payroll on Friday and they seemed like they could care less...well I have another job interview lined up with another bank for more money...not because of this incident but this was the last straw!

Well that is about right. That happened to me and my husband with the bank.

That happened to my ex twice at his last job. The kicker was that they mailed him "replacement checks" which bounced when he deposited em! They were drawn on a different bank than their usual payroll stuff was drawn on. Of course, when he tried to get them to reimburse him for the fees that occurred (not just for depositing "bad checks" but also for checks/debits drawn against those deposits) they said that it wasn't their responsibility.
