Do you think you made your parents proud as a kid?

I myself don't think i did as much as my brother...it's always my brother this, my brother that. but i think i am successful in the sports department it's just i don't have nearly as many friends as he did partly because, no offence, but our area is highly chinese and they don't do as much outside as say white, black or brown peopel do so i have less interest in making friends with them.

I think that when I was younger that I made my parents proud of me with my school performance as well as my performance in the school band. As I got older and started developing my own personality and getting into trouble it made them sad. Now that I am grown and have started my own family, I am beginning to make them proud again. It does not really bother me anymore whether or not they are proud of me because it does not have as much of an impact on my daily life.
