Welcome to mylot. I've been here about 5 or 6 weeks. One thing I have learned is that it is fun and interesting to participate in and to post discussions. But don't expect to make much money unless you can spend a lost of time and post many, many lengthy discussions and even then I doubt it. But for the most part the people are nice and you can learn about other cultures and customs but you may have to start a discussion to do it. I don't know what interests you have chosen but you need to choose some soon. A lot of well popualted interests seem to be under the hobbies category, one possiblity there is "life" which has many people in it. Of course there are the ones in the tv show category; I don't know what shows you get in china though. You can accumulate more interests from your friends as you get more friends. You also need to get a personalized avatar to help you stand out. How about some more information about yourself, nothing too personal just maybe your gender, things like that. Have fun here. I'm from the US and would like to learn more about China.

Welcome to myLot,whyshell. I love to learn about life in other ountries. So what if your English is not very good. I do not have any knowledge of the Chinese language so you are better than I am at it. I did learn about the custom of the time of mourning in China from a pshyciatrist from the Phillipines I worked with at a mental facility where I was a nurse's aide. His wife's grandmother was from China and I think his family was also. Very interesting man. Just do the best you can. I think that is what most of the people here expect and I know most of us are glad to answer questions you may have understanding things.
