in your opinion what is more important for your boy friend/husband/average guy to have and why?would you prefer a guy to be very nice and muscular from going to the gym or would you prefer a guy to be able to know how to fight/defend him self without being necesarily 'built'.
if you had to choose your boy friend/guy to go to the gym and pump weights or go do a martial art and he could only choose one, what would you tell him to do and why?

hmmm . i personally think that muscles does not matter one must also learn fighting skills and also it takes about 10 to 12 years to have a body like that man in pic :) , so i will prefer fighting skills judo karate is the best i think , and with a muscles and fighting skills both will be a great combination

I like guys who are toned and take care of themselves (not like the pic but someone with defined muscles and a sense of taking care of his body) but I value fighting skills more. Plus anyone who does martial arts will become toned just from how intense it is.
If I had to choose, I would take the disciplined fighter over the gym rat.

My choice would be martial art for sure...I am skinny and not toll, but I know that I have good balance and flexibility because of martial art....as a woman I was only one in the class with very skillful guys and the best in the group was an average looking buy without heavy muscles...

i dont really find guys that are all over muscly (like your pic especially lol) to be attractive at all. i would much rather have a guy that knows how to handle himself. feeling protected and safe really goes a long way for a lot of women.

Personally, I don't feel these are comparible to each other. I'm not into incredibly muscular dudes anyhow, but even if I was I wouldn't want him to WANT to fight anyone whether he was built for it or not. I don't think defending oneself has anything to do with being built as there are plenty of way women can defend themselves against men even if the man is stronger.
I'd want my guy to be happy with himself whether it's being fit from working out or just being fit as himself. I'd want him to be able to defend himself verbally and know how to walk away from a fight that doesn't need to be. If he did, in fact, have to defend himself in a fight... which I'd hope would never happen, I'd think that he would be able to do it without needing to be built or not as, like I said before, women can learn to defend themselves too.
