i'm 25 today and i am feeling so old. i get to celebrate a 3 year old's birthday today. my daughter's friend turned 3 a few days ago and she is having her party today so that's what i get to do for my 25th. oh well that's life. it will be fun for her.

Happy birthday! I also had my birthday on the 2nd of August. I celebrated with my students. At times I felt old too, but having being around kids so long it made me feel 27 which I'm not. Just be glad you have your daughter there with you. Congrats!

ya we went to the little girl's party. at first it was fun, they rented horses for an hour and the kids got to ride around on them. but after that i didn't really know a lot of people there and i sat there by myself a lot until the evening. it was from noon untul 7:30 is when i got home so i was really bored by then. but my daughter had fun riding the horses and i got to try as well.

How can you feel old at 25? I turned 25 in January, and my fiance turned 61 in May, and HE doesn't even feel old!!!! He really isn't, even though he's lived 36 years loger than I have.

I suppose there are worse ways to spend one's birthday than in the company of a sweet little daughter and her friends...but I'm sure you would rather be with some friends your own age! Perhaps later in the evening you can have some friends over!

Happy birthday, Pop! Ahhh... 25... I still remember those days. I've been 25 for 11 years now! I don't plan on getting any older until my kids are older than I am. Keeps me young(er) that way! LOL!
Sharing your b-day with a 3 year old sounds pretty neat! It's a great way to get those little kid things that we adults are too embarrassed to admit we like. (Like the Happy meal toys from McDonald's)
I hope you enjoyed your day. Many more birthdays are ahead of you. Just make sure you are still 25 at most of them. HA HA HA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! i know what you mean i turned 26 in june and with 2 kids and another on the way i feel very very old, i share my birthday with my mother and my niece's birthday is the day before mine and my mothers so i dont usually get a day for me it usually involves a variety of birthday celebrations so i too know what you mean on that end , regardless of how your day is spent i hope its a good one!!

Happy Birthday....... My 25th Birthday was the worse day of my Life, I spent the whole day in tears, and felt as though I had no one..... There is a long story behind it all, but don't want to bore you....
Make up for it this weekend and go out with some friends to celebrate.......

sorry you are feeling so old at twenty five. I look forward to chatting with you on your thirty year birthday to see how old you feel then.
Try to enjoy the three year olds birthday part. You will spending quility time with your daughter and that is a plus.
Also a note that you should at least have a birthday party for yourself at least once every few years. I found that celebrating my birthday as much as my child and family made me feel better about myself. Even if the celebration is just you and your child. The celebration of your birthday is as important as the celebration of anyone elses birthday.
