I just wondering whether in my country internet connection is still higher than other country. I spend about USD 30 per month for my internet bill.
I received lots of complain from my guests because the hotel charge USD 4 for 30 minutes internet...which I think that is overcharge.. So I was wondered how much actually internet cost in other country..

Every month I have to pay for RMB150 for it, it's about $20. The internet connection speed is 1MB. If I pay for more, then I will have 2MB connection speed.

I give 920 taka (13.14$) monthly charge for my gprs internet connection. It is much I know but i feel the freedom of wireless internet as I use it with a laptop. I get average 7-8 kbps speed from it. Its much less regarding other countries but I can manage my work with it. There are other connections like Brodband and dialup available but u have bound to wires for that.

My cable bill is about $100, but that includes cable tv and high speed internet. So I suppose that's not so bad, considering it is a fast connection and we are always on. It really wouldn't be much cheaper to just get the internet via cable I think, because they prefer to do everything in bundles like that.

I actually sell internet service for a cable company, and the monthly rate without any promotions for 6Mb high speed internet is 42.95 a month. Now if you have a promotion, which are always available if you ask for them, it can go down to 19.99 a month for the same thing. Some people pay that much for DSL thru the phone company and to me that is too much.
