The heading is so appropriate "Please do not be sad, be glad" That is why I admire you my friend and your wonderful son Ross! It made me realize once again how many times we take things for granted. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Wee this was an amazing clip - thank you so much for sharing it! I do understand why it touched you so much but I can't believe it would leave anyone untouched! It goes to show us all that we should just accept any creature for themselves and not how they look or move! xxx

Oh how amazing. I have never heard of that in a cat but I admire the owners who have him and love him.
It takes a special person like you to raise a child with something like CP and look what a fine young man he turned out to be.
Too bad more people can't be that understanding, some as soon as they hear something is or "might" be wrong with their unborn child or a newborn they want to get rid of "it".
My daughter was given the choice to abort her last born son, his is almost 3 now. She said there is no way she was going to do that and for that I admire her also. My youngest grandson was born with Klinefelters disease.
Take care lovely lady. :)

I have posted a picture of him taken today at my granddaughters 18th , 2 respones above this I think , I think he is great but then I am his mum and I love him to bits xxx

What a sweet, touching thing to witness. I was impressed with the level of thought that the producer put into showcasing the special cat Charley. The hard part is to hear that many loveable cats like him are not fortunate enough to find a loving home.
Hopefully, with your posting this and others who will view it on Youtube maybe cats like Charley will be cherished instead of destroyed.
Thank your for sharing and caring...and may you and your son's lives be filled with light filled blessings.

What a sweet video..I can see why it would make you cry.
It is sad to think that people would put a car with no pain and a normal life expectancy down because it walked strange or was a klutz (a lot like me).
I looked at your website, you have a beautiful family. I feel like I know you a little bit better now.

Oh weemam, that was so beautiful to watch, and very touching - you are not on your own shedding a few tears. This very happy and content cat has such a fantastic personality and has been given the chance to live his life. We are all too ready to get rid of an animal that is not "perfect", so seeing this movie clip should make us all re-think our values.
You and I have both had children who were born less than "perfect", and we were given the doom and gloom speeches by doctors, but look how they have both turned out - they have learnt to overcome their disabilities ina big way, and are a blessing - just as Charley is to his owners.
Thanks for sharing with us.

Hi Sweets, I am famaliar with this . It is like the video says he is ok.
We get all hung up on the way things look and what is NORMAL...there are different ways of being ok in this world and it's high time we all get past the 'looks' and get to the meat of things. We wast alot of time sorting beings according to the way they look...not me Sweets...I go for the inside not the outside...Just remember you can take dog poo and wrap it all up in a georgous box with beautifl bows and ya know what it's still dog poo!
Love u Doll
