I do believe that alternative healing is not bad at all. It does help in curing many diseases that modern medical sciences sometimes could not cure. But I attended a talk about cancer awareness where a medical doctor has said that per se medical science does not oppose that use of alternative medicines as preventive medical alternatives but they still consider the conventional methods since it is proven by studies and supported with results. Although its true too that herbal and many other alternative methods are proven to save lives of many. I think what the medical sciences should do is to take a closer look at this old practices and maybe do scientific studies about them and maybe integrate these ideas to their practice.
