Choroid Pl;exus Cysts

My daughter just recently had a sonogram at 20 weeks and it showed that the baby has a choroid plexus cyst on his brain. We were told that it will go away and because her quad screening results were negative that there is no risk for trisomy 18. HAs anyone heard of this and what do you think? Should we have a level 2 sonogram? Getting it done doesnt change things, we would just know if it went away or not.

I've never heard of this. Did they say if it's fairly common or not? When will she have to take the sonogram, if she decides to? Hopefully everything will be ok. Take care.

I havent heard of it either until then. If she decides to do the sonogram it would be between 28 and 30 weeks. I guess about 1 in 100 babies get it. I am sure that things will be ok. It was pretty scary though when we heard brain and cyst.
