Or do you pretend it's okay? I'm not talking about the occasional disappointment. I'm talking about the attitude that his pleasure and satisfaction is paramount but yours is not important.

Well, that would never happen in my relationship. Me and my husband are very open, and if one of us wants something "special" then we just ask for it. We enjoy pleasing eachother.
