Are u like ur mother to your kid?

My mom is a friend to me.As i don't have any sisters i used to share all my feelings to my mom when i was a kid.I used to rush to my house after my school, never remove my shoes or change my dress but tell all the stories that happened on that day to my mom.She used to advice me a lot, guide me in my difficult times.Though i'm married and a mother now, still we are the same. But now i fear that can i be a mother like her? Is it possible to show the same kindness and guidance to our younger generation? These kids don't like advices, as well as advisors. But i'll try my best to be a perfect mother.

I have tried very hard to feel the shoes of my mother. She was always there for me, through thick and thin. I have 2 sisters they are 9 and 18 years older than me, so it was very hard to relate to them at that time, and I am sure the same for them. Now my mother has passed away and I am extremly close to my sisters. I try to do special things my mother did for me with my daughter.

My goal is more to be as little like my mother as possible to my child. =p I didn't always live with my mother, and when I did I was often abused or suddenly abandoned. So my image of being a good mother is the opposite of my own mother. I have one child, a son, and so far I think I'm doing a good job with him. He knows that he is loved, and he gets a lot of attention, and he will never, ever be deserted by me like I was by my own mother.
