have you been on holiday/vacation this year?

Hi all just wondering if you have been on holiday this year and if so where did you go, for how long and what was it like? If not are you planning to go away this year? If not any particular reason why, do you like going away and if so abroad or in your country. This year i went to alcudia in majorca for a week in june. The weather was fabulous as was the hotel and i had an amazing time. I'm also going to Gran canaria for 2 weeks in two weeks time, so hopefully will enjoy that too.
