I have been doing some affiliate marketing for a little while now, and have been pretty unsuccessful with it. Who here thinks that affiliate marketing is not worth the time? If anyone can give a newbie some tips, that would be great!

hello tyler, i am an affiliate blogger. yes there are some guidelines which you have to be aware in affiliate marketing. you have to remember that content is king, it is all about how you develop your content in your blog and the no.1 guideline to make a good content is "keywords" that converts into cash.then you have to go into marketing your article or your site to article sites, web directories and social bookmarking sites. these are just the basics , i can't type it all here so i just have to refer you to a site where they have articles on affiliate marketing.this is not my site, for your information, i get my inspirations and ideas from here : http://www.affiliatekb.com/article/2572/three-affiliate-skills.html

Affiliate marketing can work depending on how much money you're looking at making. I run 4 websites and I have affiliate schemes on them all. Last December I had my first payments of £180 and since then I've had another £165. And, I still have another £84 to be sent.
The money I've made has covered the cost of hosting all my sites and I've money left over. I don't spend much time running the sites (about 3 hours a week) but if I spent more time I'd probably earn more.
