How did you tell people you where expecting your child?

i bought a firstaid kit! i filled it with babystuff! that was realy fun, my mother didn't understand it, and suddenly my father said it and my mother cried and was screaming! with the second one i put the first photo in a frame and gave it as a present!

i wasn't too creative with the first 2. i justed called told everyone. with my grandmother i told her she was a great grandmother. with our 3rd one, we let our 4 year old tell everyone she was getting a new baby brother or sister. from the beginning she insisted it was a brother and she was right :)

It was Christmas when my husband and I wanted to make the announcement. I made sugar cookies. I got a cookie cutter in the shape of a footprint and iced the cookies pink and blue. I waited until dinner was over and told everyone my husband and I made them something special. I went around the room asking what they wanted a pink or blue iced cookie. It took them a few minutes but they caught on.
