I know lots of people who have a big age gap between them and as long as your friend is happy with that person then thats fine. One of my family friends has been married happily to her partner for over 20 years.

Well they say age doesn't matter but personally i wouldn't want anyone more than 6-8 years older than me. I would want someone who is on the same level as me, who has gone through things at roughly the same time as me etc. In saying that, I'm sure there are couples with 20 year age differences that are totally in love. My parents have a 7 year gap and it's working for them. I'm actually a year older than my fiance and I don't think it matters if the female is older than the male. Personal choice!

I feel the same way..I am 5 years older...and would not like the age gap any further then it is..already..I hate to say it but..I do think that if you have a relationship where there is a lot of age difference..jealousy will rear its ugly head!
