I have been using my notebook for almost a year and i am into a wireless connection. SOmetimes i find it slow sometimes it doesnt pick up signal at all. I love being on a wireless even if it has inconsistency on its connection. But sometimes i feel like LOCAL AREA NETWORK (LAN) or the wired has better connection. THe only disadvantage of LAN or WIRED is that you cant bring it anywhere you go. Unlike wireless or wifi, as long as there is a signal, you can go online anytime. I prefer wireless then. How about you, which one would you prefer?

I have just gone wireless and I must admit I am finding it a pain. Nearly everyday the connection goes wrong and I end up with an unidentified network so I have to go through the repair sysem everytime. The good thing about it though is now my son can go on the internet with his psp and there are no more accidents with people tripping over the wire.lol

That i believe is true. Wireless cuts off the mess of wires in the house, eventually avoiding accidents. THanks ItTakesAllSorts!

I would rather just the normal landline broadband..I have no choice and have to have satellite broadband..It constantly cuts out and gets slow also, depending on the weather..

Thank you Calais for responding. I have been into the kind of problem you had. It gets cut off everytime and it gives a very slow connection. So the usual thing to do is to uninstall and then reinstall driver. Worst is reseating the card on the slot. Nice choice!
