Congratulations! The price is right; any functional computer is easily worth 20 bucks.
So, do you know the specs on it? If you do, perhaps I could offer you some suggestions. Enjoy your new toy! :D

Actually, it is a pretty decent laptop. It is a Sager and I did some research on the brand last night and it is really good and durable brand. I bought off of a friend of mine from work and she did not charge me much for it because she actually found it. The only reason that she charged me for it at all is because it has a brand new Netgear wireless card in it. Right now, it needs a new hard drive because the one that is in it is only six gigs. As far as upgrading it, I have been in the tech field for a few years and know my way around a computer pretty well. If I do have any questions, I will definitely be posting them here!

Cool beings. What OS does it use? I'm sure you'll have your technical T's crossed and I's dotted, but if you're using 2K or XP (of course you won't be trying Vista on this thing), you may or may not know that AOL is offering McAfee SecurityCenter for free. Antivirus, antispyware, and firewall (all three ICSA certified), IDS, IP tracing, and script blocking! All you have to do is open an e-mail account with them. :P Check it out: http://safety.aol.com/isc/index.adp?

I am actually pretty handy when it comes to computers and always check things before I buy, especially when used. As the saying goes, buyer beware! I have had the laptop now for about a week and it is really good. I am very happy with the purchase and am looking forward to upgradiing it soon :)
