Oh, I have visited southern Kerala, and central part. But Northern side I have yet to travel. I think I shall do that when I come to Kerala next time. My place is more of hills and rivers and streams and trees.

Hi Jothis, I am from West Bengal. India as a whole is a beautiful country with a variety of festivals, each unique to a particular region. I know about Onam, its one of the major festivals of Kerala and I think you have the wonderful boat races then, don’t you? And of course all festivals have the additional happiness factors like new clothes and sumptuous food. I hope you enjoyed your Onam. Very soon it will be Durga Puja is my state and we have already started our festive shopping. I am sooooooooo excited.
As they say, in India there are 13 festivals in 12 months!
