Have you ever been inlove to a person who is already with someone?

One time we had this bonding with my college friends. The realtionship is solid and tight that is not possible to fall from each other. There was this one fried who was so sweet, adorable and indeed a friendly person. With all of these she caught my attention. We became close with each other and exchange jokes and stories, we had great time being together. Then I just found out that I hve fallen for her even if I knew that she already has a boyfriend. It was torturing to be silent with my feelings and to watch her to be with someone else,,:( Have you ever been in this situationm wherein your inlove with someone who is already taken?

I was in love in with my best friend for a couple years. He wasnt taken, but he was in love with someone else. And it drove me crazy because i knew those girls would never give him a chance. I just felt like slapping and saying hello right heres your chance! So many of my relationships failed because i compared them to my best friend. But i finally realized that we would never be together and i moved on. So did you ever tell her how you felt?
