Has got me thinking of a whole lot of ways to use this great(and FREE) system!
The social network that comes with this system allows you to post your profile, along with your new phone number, to recieve messages from people in the community who are interested in meeting you or maybe even your products or services... you can check your messages from any phone (or online) and even customise your greeting- maybe I'll sing one after I get over this cold, LOL! :)
A new free phone number can have many, many great uses... perhaps you great folks in my Mylot family will share some of your tips and suggestions in your comments.
This is a really cool freebie, I think, and I hope that you all will find it useful! :)

PS: I don't make any money for telling you about this.

I was busy working on my book and stuff and trying to get ready to move... the weather hasn't been friendly and I caught a cold on top of that... but guess what?
I am HAPPY no matter what! :) I am glad to be back at MyLot but I'm still busy... I'm surprised that I was missed, many people aren't as active this time of year because of weather and vacations and such...
It certainly is good to see you, Sammie! :) PM me and tell me how things are going for you and yours!

I just received a msg from them today that they are shutting down service. I don't use the number except for signing up for things where I don't want to get a lot of sales calls. I like they you could choose the area code you want. Too bad it is going away!
If anyone knows of another like it - free and with choice of area code, please post!
BTW, I am new to myLot. :)

I wish they did not shut down this service I wanted to try it and need something like it the closest I found is inumbr but you need to have a phone number to give... but this one you do not need one it is just a voice mail thought http://www.k7.net they also mention a different voicemail service.. Then there is something called gizmo I was looking at but I can not afford to spend any money yet.. So I can not really use gizmo yet either... and the only issue I have with k7 is it is all Seattle Washington numbers.. and inumbr is all big city numbers too. I can not find a free service like k7 that will actually be in the the Wisconsin area code..... I wanted on to use when applying for jobs too so they did not have to call my parents phone number.. since I am not getting my messages from them ... The Seattle Washington one is a free fax too. Those go directly to your email or to their site in a file to download and open. To bad we can not talk k7 into expanding its phone number area code...
