A woman is six months pregnant, and she suddenly becomes very ill. Her doctor prescribes an very strong antibiotic to her telling her that 1.If she takes the antibiotics, her baby could be born with a mental illness / mental disability, or 2. If she doesn't take the antibiotics, her illness could turn into something worse, putting her life on the line. If this was the case, do you think it would be ethical/morally correct to get an abortion? Or do you believe that the mother should not take the antibiotics, and risk her life along with her unborn child's?
