Yes it does. I am getting bored with the whole thing. I can't find discussions to respond to anymore. It feels like all the people who made discussions I was interested in are gone or not posting anymore. I used to have no problem making my payout every month. Now it takes two. Does that mean that I have accepted too many friends who I have nothing in common with?

I don't know. I have a lot of friends on here and can always find something to respond to, maybe because I have so many different friends. I was referring to a person's own discussion in this post, though, not others'.

I find it difficult sometimes to find interesting discussions to respond to, I don't get bored with my own ones, but as very few people bother to read mine then I guess that they are boring to everyone else, so I need to be interested in the one's I've written or I shouldn't bother to write them in the first place.

Does this happen to you?
Yes when it hits the point I am reading the same thing over and over again. I stopped making so many discussions because of it. Now I try to think of something that will create a wide range of responses because of that right there, getting bored reading them. It may sound mean or snotty, but honestly it does become a bit old reading the same thing over and over.

I do get bored with some of the discussions I see on here, so I will make up interesting ones if I can.

Well this can happen if you put up a lot of them I suppose. I never get bored, I can tired of reading/responding, but always come back to it later on. If you just focus on any feeling, it will disappear and focusing on boredom, noticing all it nuances is very interesting! LOL

I think my topics are boring, lol, I feel quite self conscious when I start one, it just doesnt seem like I can contribute anything interesting.Though I won't post anything dumb just to get responses.

Yes, when we get a lot of responses we may feel so. But I have never faced such a situation, because I don't get that much responses to my discussions. The most I got is 55. Then why should you feel bored, you start a lot of discussions on a daily basis no? So you can switch from discussion to discussion. That is fine too.

The only part that bring the discussion to life is the different responses I get from it. Sometimes I get compliment for a topic but on other occasion the response I get really challenge my knowledge of the subject. I never get bored of my discussion cos of the responses that I received.

I just happened to have done one of those, wooitsmolly. They do start out with some good responses, but then they all get to be pretty much the same. So, when I get tired of commenting, I will just rate them. I figure that's the least I can do to thank them for responding. I recently started a discussion and have received over 50 responses. Even since I selected the best response, it just keeps growing.

I should say No, to your this question, so far. But its getting more difficult for me to find good discussion nowadays to respond to, as I was able to do few months back.
I can find many discussions, but most of them are already posted by someone else with different words. :(

Yeah its been happening alot more each day. I think i might need to take a break from mylot and then come back. Its hard to get one of those great topics to talk about where you get alot of responses anyways. What do you do to refresh your self from mylot?

Happens to me all the time. I get tired of my discussions usually on the same day that I put them up. What I do like though is when one of your old discussions gets a response a couple of months later....makes it seem almost new again.

Yeah, mylot in general is getting boring. I don't get well thought out responses to my questions anymore. And I keep seeing the same old discussions over and over posted by different people. It's not even as cool as deja vu, it's just boring.

I think it happens to everyone. May be that is why I do not get many responses like how you got.

Dear wooitsmolly, I never feel bored to read discussions and its responses. I do not know why but it gives some kind of happiness because we are just reading the knowledge and mental thinking of different people around world. I used to wonder how people are so intelligent when the make such a nice response to the discussion. Sorry I never feel tired and bored while doing mylot. In case I am unable to attend to mylot I feel I missed something on that day.

Yeah it happens with me manytimes. I know there is no way to solve this problem .. what I do is I simply don't open my discussions for a long time as because I feel so bored to read the same discussion again. I only open the discussion when some user add a response to it. I just like to know other members view on my discussion.
