Usually ADD or ADHD is considered as a disorder among children. But the fact is that its prevalent among adults as well but is not much talked about. I would appreciate the discussion on signs and symptoms of Adult ADD and comments on how to manage your life with it. It would help alot. Thanks!!!

Hi Orrangge, I was diagnosed as a teenager with ADD...I guess some of the signs are if you have troubles with concentration if you are in a classroom, meeting or that type of setting..That if you don't listen close you have a tough time understanding what is going on...Also your moods can be a factor if you find that you have many mood swings...Also when someone can explain a match or subject problem to you and you don't get the meaning and it seems like everyone else around you gets the meaning before you...I have learned to adjust over the years and it really isn't that bad..If I don't understand something I ask the person what did you mean by that...I try when I'm in a setting where I can get distracted I tell myself why I'm there and try to concentrate on what is going on infront of me not around me...I'm not an expert by all means this is how I have delt I hope this helps and I hope I didn't offend if you need to talk I will listen smiles

I did in the beginning feel tired all the time yes..And your welcome for responding..Right now my feeling tired is other issues i'm dealing with..I did feel pressured like I was stupid or something cuz I didn't understand where others did..Almost like I was in a dream all the time...Also I felt overwhelmed sometimes when I couldn't understand things and still do sometimes.

Hi BlueAngelRS, Do you take medications. Is your ADD controlled by medicine. Do you get side affects. I really appreciate your response. Thanx
