What exactly are the twelve days of Christmas?

thanks for the lesson I have never heard or read it this way and to tell the truth I cant remeber all the versus of the song this would give a memory to a lot of people that do , do this celebrate the 12 days of christmas and Yes I had read this in one repsonce to you after I responded for from emails I dont see those responses before I respond

Why, thank you. Those of us that are Catholic or Orthodox should know what the 12 days are. I don't even understand why the rest don't, but then I didn't before I became Orthodox.

hi my friend lyndee22. i am hearing too Christmas songs being played on air every morning. how i wish it is time again for the 9-dawn masses (simbang gabi)! i really missed those occasions! i think it is counting the days after christmas (dec. 26th) until the feast of the three kings (jan. 6th) are the 12 days of christmas. well, i really like christmas being celebrated everyday because it would always be a meaningful and colorful day for me! merry christmas in advance.

it's something we enjoy during december when we temporarily go out for vacation and spend sometime with our loved ones, although we can have them anytime of the year, but celebrating these 12 days of Christmas is more special than any other holidays because this is the time when God's love to mankind is fulfilled. remember John 3:16 - For God so loved the world...that He gave us His son..that we shall have everlasting life..."- this is the GOSPEL in action!
