How did you choose your babies names?

My fiance actually came up with our daughters name. A couple of weeks after we found out we were having a girl he had a dream about our daughter. Everyone in his dream was calling her Sena. He told me about his dream and I thought it was really neat so we decided to go with it. Now we have a neat story to tell her about her name.

for the longest time i had a list of babies names that i liked. for girls hannah was my favorite, followed by hailey. so our first daughter was named hannah. my middle name came from my great grandmother, so i wanted to do the same for my kids. then i found out my grandmother and my husbands sister both had the same middle name, and both had passed away the same year...so we gave her their middle name instead. so she became hannah leigh. our second daughter got the name hailey and then her middle name came from my best friend. my friend and i have been friends since we were 4 and we're 26 now. no matter where life has taken us we've keep in touch. so we have hailey nicole. we just had our son and had trouble picking his name. over the years our tastes changed. we finally decided on logan and gave him my dads middle name. i would have liked to give him his great grandfathers middle name, but unfortunatley none of them had names we liked at all.

Well my oldest child, I just love how the name sounds and my second child first name is from both my husbands and my grandfathers.

my children's names are just a combination of our names then they sound nice so that's it...my eldest is Mary Shyne her grandmother's name is Maria...my second is Pearl Jeremae...from my husband jermane...my little boy is Sebastian Louise...from the Movie...hallow man...that's it.

I choice my kid name according to his birthday's weather,because that day,there was a little rain,as well i go to hospital in the morning, so his name meaning the morning rain , i like this poetic name very much.

My husband and I are expecting our little boy this November and we decided on the name Michael Thomas. It is after our dad's names. His dad's name is Michael and my dad's name is Thomas. We will call him Mike. We can't hardly wait for his arrival!

I got my Name from my father. Now its very difficult to fid out an apt name for babies. Now i am not married So not yet thinked about this. But after viewing your discussion me too start to find out a good name for my baby

We were thinking of a name for our child before she was born but then i don't know why later when our daughter was born we start to re-thinking the name again. We started to ask for advice from some master. The master kept rejecting the names that we had in mind. Until almost 1 month, at last we come to the right name.

My sons name was chosen because of many reasons. First of all we didint know how to call him so I said to my husband lets write 5 names each and see what we like so we did and we both had Viktor in our lists. My fathers name in macedonian is too hard for people to say it in here so they call him Vic. My name starts with V my husband with K so it makes V&K or ViK in macedonian. But no one knew of our dilema and everyone thouth we were going to call him Teo but when he was born my husbands neice started calling my son baby Viktor for some reason so we said why not Viktor it is.
