I know all of us will say we cannot live without cellphone, or life will be hard, since we've been used to having it 24/7 of our lives. Oh well, I'll be living without one today, tommorrow and untill I'm able to get myself a new phone. I was in a hurry this morning and it accidentally fell off my hand, so sad that I wasn't able to save my dear precious phone, old as it is and with minor injuries from previous accidents..my cellphone just gave up..really sad.. So I'm up to saving for one again. I can actually live without a phone but of course my boss cannot survive without my phone :) How long can you live perfectly without your mobile phone? All important numbers are there...tsk..tsk...

I lived without a cell phone for quite some time. It wasn't until recently when I started traveling a lot by myself that we decided it was time for us to get new cell phones. I have insurance on mine because of the fact its constantly getting dropped or dropped in the toilet (ahem) I'm so glad that I have it though cause we've replaced both of our phones already at no charge!! To me its worth the $7 per phone for it.

I think that is brilliant. I hear so many people in discussions about cell phones, tell about dropping theirs in the toilet, LOL.

lol That's funny cause I never drop my phone although it did go for a swim once in my pocket when I went overboard into the creek while we were canoeing this past spring. Couple days of drying out and it works just fine.

yeah, I have read several discussion about cellphones dropped at the toilet, I think my cellphone is lucky enough, it hadn't tasted water. :) Insurance in cellphone is not so common here, I never knew anyobody from my place who have insured thier cellphones.

Sorry it happened to you my friend, accidents happened when we have no money to replace it LOL. I used to write down the numbers on my phone in a notebook as i am afraid that same accident will happen to me, or what if my cp got stolen. My clients number are very important and i cant afford to lose them. Maybe the next time you've got a new phone try to do the same thing as i did..just spend a little time. As for the damaged phone, maybe it happen because you are bound to have a new and much high tech phone, don't you see it?

Hello cefaz_21, I am sorry to hear that. Personally, I don't think I can live without my hand phone but it is just like a dream not to be disturbed by the sound of your hand phone ringing *smile* I am not a kind of person who love to change hand phone whenever a new model is being introduced as I need it for the purpose of making/receiving calls or SMS only. But definitely, it is very important to have one with me 24/7 *smile* Hope you will get a new one as soon as possible. Your boss will definitely miss you a lot *laugh*

I am using cell phone for last six years and now it is a part of my life.So it is impossible for me to live without a cell phone.Even I can't think in my dream that I am leving without cell phone. It helps me to keep touch with others. So now in a day leving without a cell phone become impossible.

I love my phone but I think I could live without it if I had to. I am home most all day during the week so I have my house phone here if I needed to use the phone. The only time I really need my cellphone is when I go out because I don't want the car to break down with me and my son in it so if I have a phone I could call somebody to come help us if that ever happened. I just like to have it for safety concerns. Can your cell phone provider not give you another phone since yours broke? We have insurance on our phones in case something like that happens and they'll try to fix it and if they can't then we get a new one. I just saw this was written 5 months ago, so have you gotten a new phone yet?

I could not, but then I kept the records of when I bought it so all I have to do is to take it down to the nearest Rogers at the Mall and get a new one. I just bought mine and so I am very careful. What you should do is to get the original sales receipt or the original contract and tell the provider what happened so they can get you a replacement.

I don't even own a cell phone, and I never have. I guess that is unusual for a 26 year old female never to have owned a cell phone. My parents and sister and brother-in-law have their own phones, and I think they would be lost without them. I've just never had the money to buy one, even though it would come in handy. I can't justify spending even a small amount on that because my income is very very low.

Aaaahhh, that would be a nightmare for me. There is not a day that goes by where I don't use my phone. Even if it is just to look up a number. I don't think I could cope without mine.

COme on...think about this logically? What is the worst that could happen without a cellphone? I have one but it's often uncharged and I hardly ever have to buy credit for it. Its for emergencies only. Columbus sailed the seas long before cell phones. I think we can manage without them!

Its quite sad to hear that you your cell phone is damaged. For me i feel its very difficult to pass days without my mobile as i keep in touch with all my friends through text messages and calls. But i can defintely adjust some days..may be 2-4 days but not more than that. But if anything which happens so uncertain i will also be in a position to wait for some time to get a new one.

i could not survive without my cell phone! Although I don't like to talk for too long on it I use my cellphone for my business. All of my customers call it, so without it I wouldn't have any business :( And I am super nosey! I love to know what happens when it happens.. So without it I would be wondering constantly what's happening around town!! :)

I am sick of cell phones and I surrendered my phone recently. I do not like disturbance. I hate people calling for silly reasons.

I rarely use my cell phone and when people do ring I can't even hear it when its in my bag LOL I can survive for quite sometime without one. I usually use my landline and leave the cell phone for emergencies.

It is hard to imagine if one day I will have no cellphone. My life may be less entertainment at that time. Although there are no more calls to me everyday, but I still keep my cellphone with me. If one day I forgets to bring it, I will feel uncomfortable.

yeah, sometimes i agree that I can't live without my cellphone. So much important numbers in there, I could loose my contact if I haven't my cellphone. I love my cellphone even it couldn't make me satisfie with the features by the way. LOL But, in other hand I feel I didn't need cellphone. lol

Whaat? I can't imagine life without my phone. (Of course, I'm exaggerating!) *hehehehe* My phone is the only way where people can contact me, given that I am not lowbat and I have signal wherever I am. =) It's my means to communicate to people away from me and to be able to talk to those I wanted to talk to. Usually, my phone is always by my side. But I'm planning and learning to live without it day by day. It's because I'm planning to review for my licensure exam, and I know that having my phone beside me is really an "addiction". I might live without it a month or two. (whooooooahuhuhu) hehe... Just a way of disciplining myself. LOL take care and God bless!

Oh! How sad! Sorry to hear dat. Actually i can live without my cellphone. I even sometimes leave my phone in our house especially if I don't have load but my cellphone is also very important to me. One day wen I was so in a hurry 2 go to school, I forgot to bring my cellphone. I thought I already lost it, I already started to cry. The important numbers were stored there and I just realized that I can live without my cellphone but it's so sad if I will not have one. I will really miss my phone. Thank God! It was not lost, my mom just brought it cuz she thought maybe I forgot it or whatever..
