Yes, all the time. It's a must for me. So, taking down notes takes twice the time and twice the effort for me.

I have my own small office at home. There I put my home phone, mobile phone, sheets of small papers and office utensils for my usage. So whenever somebody calls, I would pick up the phone and take within my reach the already cut pieces of paper and jot down the messages.
However, I am into this habit of tearing of scratch paper if I want to jot down things to buy from the grocery store. Lol. Maybe this habit has been passed down to me from my mother, because she likes doing this too.

At home? sure we have a bunch of sheets of small paper by the phone with pens and pencils- I don't transfer them though - I only use them for making out grocery lists- writing down messages from the phone calls- doodling when I'm on the phone- that sort of thing-
At work I write all over my desk calendar.

Yes, I use scratch papers. I use it to paste attachements of reimbursements, utility bills, gasoline receipts. I also use it in my disbursement reports. If it is printed in both side I give it to the admin personnel for their use.

I always do especially at work. I always put on the important things that are dictating by our clients in order for me not to get hard of those words or to learn something.

NO...NOt usually. I just try to remember the message and if I have to take down a phone number I usually write it on the back of a bill, LOL. Maby I should get some scratch paper to leave by one of my phones.

Yes, I entirely agree with you...that we should keep a scrath paper to note down message recevived on phone. I also keep papers and a pen handy while receiving a phone call..either in office or at home.

I always use scratch paper for taking down notes, not only when I am talking on the phone, but also sometimes when I am listening to the teachers.Scratch paper is useful for taking down detail data so I take scratch paper in my bag.And then I will re-write the info on my notebook.

I seldom do so. I usually write messages in my cell phone and store it there as a memory. But sometimes when I am in the office or at home, I would like to write down the message on a piece of paper.
