I first experience high blood pressure during my pregnancy on my 3rd child. Since I gave birth by caesarian section from my first child, I did not have control on my food intake. I even had soda everyday. My obgynecologist was so concerned of my condition that time bec it was very risky to give birth with a high blood pressure. I had to undergo the caesarian operation much ahead the scheduled date. After giving birth, my doctor advised me to lose weight to keep my blood pressure in normal level. I did lost weight after that and my bp became normal. But after few years it came back and right now im taking my daily medication for my hypertension....

My high blood pressure increased during my first pregnancy. I was in the 8 months when my pressure shoot up and I was admitted to the hospital because I was in the danger stage. I was monitored everyday by the doctor and when the baby was fully developed though not due yet the doctor advised me to have a ceasarian cos it is too risky for natural birth. After delivering my blood pressure did not return to normal and I was asked to take medication which I had been taking eversince. Food is important during pregnanacy to avoid high blood pressure.
