Hi! Glad you're picking up a new language. I'm so lazy. I had to pick up both Korean and Spanish but just can't be bothered and my boyfriend is upset with me. :D Because he's a Korean that grew up overseas so his 1st language is Spanish. Weird mixture huh! By the way, I'm Chinese too but not from China. My first language is English and Mandarin is my second. Sorry to say but I hate to read or write in Chinese. I find it so difficult. But I like to converse in Mandarin. :P Once you pick up English, learning other European languages will be easier. I think to master a language, one should go to the particular country to learn because it forces you to learn it quick. Its different for me because I never go out and I rely on my boyfriend to converse for me in Spanish. I'm in Guatemala right now. But, I'm happy that we're going back to Asia soon.
