I'm a huge reading fan and I will generally carry a book with me at all times. I read when I'm waiting on someone to run an errand, I'll read while waiting for an appointment, etc. Do you carry something to read with you often?

I am not a big reading fan so I do not bring much reading material with me or at all. I am waiting for another book about various types of birds and their habitat and behaviors and will be reading that once it arrives. I probably should read books more often. I bring a backpack with me to work so I am now putting things in there and may start reading books more often.

I love to read but I don't always carry my book unless I know for sure I will really have time, like waiting in a doctor's office which can last forever.

Yes I always carry a book around with me, also 1 in the car, so I can read while waiting for family etc. I also have audio books in the car to listen to while I am driving. It takes the strain & stress out of waiting.

I don’t usually- Unless I know I will be waiting for a long time- I tend to pick up magazines a lot when I’m waiting for an appointment – And I’m a huge people watcher- so I’m content to sit down and watch the people walk by- I do love to read at home- but haven’t found the time lately- At night I’m too tired and end up reading a page or 2 before falling asleep.

I once brought a book to work with me. It was a book that was a steamy romance novel. I provided relief to the teachers during SAT's and once the head count was done, I broke out my book while I waited for the teacher to return. My face turned red when I came upon a spicy scene. I left the book home the next time and brought a book of find-a-word.

If I am going some place I know there will be a long wait, DMV, doctors, dental appointments etc. then I also put a paperback in my purse.

Oh you bet I do! Whether it's something old and classic or new and not yet discovered, I always seem to have some reading material with me. The funny thing is when I'm waiting for either someone I'm with or an appointment, I will at times become secretly agitated when I'm interrupted. How selfish of me. Right? He he he. Sometimes I feel like saying, "take the next person" or "you're done already." But naturally I don't. ‹(°¿°)›

Well, in a way, I carry my Palm, it has probably 20 or 30 e-books on it, maybe more. I am right now reading James Patterson's books. I have read all of the Alex Cross Series but one and the same goes for the Women's murder club, I have read the 1st book in the Maximum ride series. I have also read several of his other books. I also have some Stephanie Plum and all of the Dan Brown books on it. Actually I have a whole bunch moreon there now that I think about it. Love my palm and my ebooks.

Hello hockeygal!(",) Like you, I LOVE reading. I usually carry my nursing PDA book with me all the time. It's small and can be carried along anywhere. I have it to ease boredom and if ever I have to wait for someone, I will have something to do while waiting. I'm planning to buy a novel so that I can read also stories about life and love. Any suggestion on what book I will buy? Thank you and God bless!(",)

Hey, I'm a huge reading fan too. I do carry a book around if I know I will be waiting for quite sometime for an appointment or something. Usually I don't carry a book because I find it a heavy practice. I don't like bringing things with me because I want to feel light while going around. However, if there are times when I know I'll be stuck for a long time, I make sure I have a book with me. The only thing that could take me away from the computer would be a good book.

Hi hockeygal4ever! Yes, I do bring a book with me all the time especially when I am travelling. It really keeps me company so I don't have to be restless while on a bus or waiting for someone. I usually bring with me inspirational books. Have a nice day! :)

No, i don't carry anything while going out most of the time. I want my hands to be free always, so its a big headache to carry a book. I do it only when i'm on long journeys, so that the journey does'nt get boring and also because i hate sitting idle or meditating for long hours. I like carrying pocket books but it gets over within minutes of reading, so i don't do it either. However, when i'm at home, i love reading pocket books, newspapers and short stories.
