Men do u find yourself like a frog???

there's an old story that says you cant kill a frog by droping it into boiling water coz it will react so quickly to the sudden heat that it will jump out before it is hurt.. but if you put it into cold water abd gradually warm it...he never decides to jump until it's too late..... men are the same when you suddenly show that you like them they will get to dump you abruptly but if you treat them cold at first and make things hard for them, they'll be attached and never know they're already into you.. what can you say about it? is it true?

Not always, now that I am single again I find it hard to get close to a women because I do not want to get hurt again, of course being treated coldly is not a turn on for men and might actualy drive me away from a women if she were to act this way twoards me.
