Alright, now we've really gotta pump up our efforts to save the Mets homerun apple and have a piece of the old Shea stadium move on over to the new Citi field! My friend's site, http://www.savetheapple.com is working on saving the apple, and we're going to the game on Wednesday night. Contact the site for more details on that.
I really feel that this is important to all of us Mets fans, young and old alike. We have to save some part of Shea, and I think that's the best thing to save. It's Mets Magic, baby! Let's keep it alive!!!! Sign the petition, get involved!

I'm not a Mets fan. Actually, I'm a Braves fan. I think this is a great cause tho and I will sign the petition. I've been to Shea once and enjoyed the atmosphere and hate to see it go, but keeping the apple would help perserve the memory of Shea. Good luck to y'all and I hope it works.

Thank you so much! I was at the Mets/Braves game on Wednesday night. It's such a great match up when our two teams play against each other! I feel like it's a true game of baseball, because the scores are always so close and it keeps it interesting and exciting. Thanks for joining in on the cause!!!

It was a great series. I missed the Tuesday game, but I saw the Wed. and Thurs. games on TV with some of my buds. I about had a heart attack yesterday until Willie made that grab. Bullpen failure is all too familiar in Atlanta. Well, heres to a Phillies loss (the one thing I know we can agree on).

Ok so this is about baseball huh? We do not have popular teams in our country on baseball. Filipinos are more of basketball, boxing, and billiard fans. But I begun to love baseball way back in college. I was asked to facilitate the game. I was the facilitator for our intrmurals. It was fun, I realize I love the game. God bless!
