I need to lose some extra pounds. Basically, I've grown a little plump and I don't want it to get out of hand. I am really active, so the fact that I am even gaining is sort of perplexing. My guess is that my eating habits are not where they should be.
I think one of the problems is that I was addicted to carbs. In order to fix it, I reintroduced saturated fat to my diet. Last night after taekwando I wanted a big plate of pasta. Instead, I was satisfied with a piece of marble rye bread and some butter. Overall it had less calories than the pasta.
I am wondering what is working for people in terms of weight loss. I am looking for ideas for new things I can try.
Also, I am not entirely sure how much I should be eating! I worked out for three hours total yesterday - an hour in the weight room in the morning and two hours at taekwando. I felt a little guilty eating 10 stuffed grapeleaves for lunch, but my guess is that I needed the calories. I couldn't eat breakfast in the morning because I didn't feel like it. I had nausea - I got four hours of sleep and my appetite is severely reduced when I am overtired.
