your right..a balance ratio of character and education makes a good person..there are educated persons who never act as educated..they act like they don't have any reputations to preserve at..they think they are superior just because they had been educated..there are some people who act so educated even if if they didn't step on school.they sounded politely and act like a well mannered people..so it differs..

Both characters and education are important. In your opinion, what characters are important? I think different person has different values. Greg, for instance, may like others who are a straight-forward person. But Issabel doesn't like it. Different cultures also has different values and how they perceive characters considered as important values. So, it can't become black and white.
I just came across this article -- "Bad bosses get promoted, not punished?"
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/070803/odds/odd_work_bosses_dc
So, you see... people who behave badly according to general values can be considered a good thing for a few people.

In my views character is more important then education. If you are having a number of Degrees under your name but your character is always doubtful then what the use of having so many degrees. People like a person because of his/ her character not by his education.

Character is always the one that defines the human being and separates him from the rest of the living beings of the world.
With that, I would say, when a man has character, he has everything. When he lost his character, he lost everything. Education becomes useful only when it helps one to develop a character

Hi tweety sweety,
It is true that good charcter is the most important thing, but I think good education plays a very important role in developing this good charcter. After all we go to school and learn so many basic manners which make the charcter of a person appreiciatable in the society. I think both are equally important and one cannot praise just one of them.....both are indispensible and depend on each other.

hey friend this is SHADAAB here
ok as you said what is more important that counts a person
his/her CHARACTER or his/her EDUCATION
So my friend i think both count and I give them a ratio 2:1
Character:Education 2:1
AS both are the most important Pillars of a persons life both count.
And I give
CHARACTER an upper hand because LIFEs build up with character and education nourishes it.
Thats all that i wouldlike to say.
And my friend
You have posted a very very Good Discussion
it is a sensible one.
