Here's a good one, I work for a firm that installs hospital equipment in peoples house and am in and out of peoples houses all day. One thing that this job has brought to my attention is the lack of common courtesy. Im doing them a massive favour installing equipment in there home so they can come out of hospital and come back to their homes and the majority of people do not even say so much as thank you. WHERE HAS COMMON COURTESY DISSAPERED TO!! Where do you thinks its gone or do you just think that the world has just become rude all of a sudden???

Well, there are several things going on here. First of all, if you are doing your job you are not doing a favor. You are doing what is expected from you and what they are paying for.
But beyond that when there is a situation that requires hospital equipment the people are already highly stressed by the situation. Their "hospitality quotiant" is proabably pretty low.
Yes, it would be good if they said "thank you". But if you really want to do them a favor, do your work as well as you can and cause as little stress for them as possible being grateful that you can help without expecting expressions of gratitude from them. True grace is giving without expecting anything in return.

people have lost their thank you attitudes and stopped being greatful for what people are doing for them..
they have gone from that to just being demanding and having a "do your job" attitude..
your not human, your a machine that is there to take care of what your supposed to and do it how they say when they say as fast as they say..
people are just rude now days.
