Do you believe chinese medicine?

I suffer from asthma for a long time.I tried some medicines but they are not very effective.That is to say,they can relieve misery when I take them this time.But during next paroxysm, I have to take them. So I turned to Chinese medicine.After taking the medicine for a few weeks,I feel better and better.Although it is very very very bitter,it can cure my illness.It treats all of my organs as a whole connective thing.I think it is very scientific as well as magic.How do you think?
