Video games are good in that they help with your hand-eye coordination which adds some points to your IQ. But like the saying goes: everything in moderation". Although video games make your kids stay home and out of trouble, they should not be allowed to spend the whole day in front of the tv. This makes them prone to obesity which is a whole new ball game on its own.
Need i mention the content of the video games? As responsible parents, you have to make sure the games you let your child/ children play, are age appropriate. So watch the language, values and violence levels.
