When eating salad do you use a separate fork, or the same one used for dinner?

When I eat a salad at a restaurant, I use the salad fork. If I am at a restaurant that provides them, usually upscale. If I am at home I use the same fork for everything, salad, dinner, and desert if we have it.. What do you do? Do you set out separate forks at home, or use the same one for everything? Do you use separate forks at restaurants?

I tend to use the same fork for everything. Except soup, of course. Sometimes even at restaurants I'll keep the same fork. There are some restaurants where the dinner fork is just too big for my mouth.

I feel ya on that one.. Some of those forks are huge aren't they.. Olive Garden is one of those places that have huge forks. Thank you for posting.

i use the same fork... if i use a separate fork for salad it becomes to many utensils already on my plate and it looks so messy. i sometimes drops the fork i use for dinner if i get a separate fork for my salad. lol

There are a lot of untinsels... There is the salad fork, the dinner fork, the soup spoon, the tea spoon, the lobster fork, i know there are a LOT more than that, but who really uses all of them unless you have someone else to do the dishes for you. Thank you for posting

yes i know there are a lot of utensils, i work in a hotel so i know that. but i still stick on using the same fork because it messes up my plate. i would rather concentrate on the food i am eating than the utensils im using.

yes i do....i want my food to taste as ease... no other such remains of other food. but sometimes im a kind of little lazy to stand up and delay my salad or ice cream so i used same fork or spoon.. ^_^

I deffinately switch when it comes to changing from dinner to desert, because there is nothing like getting a big piece of dinner in your apple pie or ice cream.. Thank you for posting.
