Help what can i do with my 4yr during the summer holidays. He usually goes morning's to a pre school. What can i do that doesnt cost a lot but will keep him happy (and me), and amused. This is only the 2nd week of our summer holidays and I am already stuck with ideas.

Kneeding some dough with any flour and they can use it like clay and make dolls and cats, and other stuff..

Dip a long thread in some ink.. place it between two sheets of paper and pull it out.. it real looks good..u can set up a pin board for them to put all their stuff... u can also cut vegs in different shapes and dip them in paint and make cards with them.. it fun..

Oh I can really sympathise with you mistyb, I was fed up of the holidays in the first week!!I have a 6,5 and 3 year old to entertain with a limited income and no car.
I would suggest a trip to the park if it is nearby - I find my kids are tired out with the walk and running around. They love feeding the ducks and having a little picnic.
I also mooch around charity shops and discount stores a lot for cheap entertainment such as toys, paper and crayons or even dvds to watch.
How about a bit of cooking? Simple fairy cakes or even just sticking small sweets to biscuits?
Hope this helps a bit and good luck till school starts!
