You can see that there are tons of degree holders graduating every year, and more aspiring ones entering the arena of pursuing one. Some couldn't even land on a job with a decent pay after graduation. Looking back at history not far from now, one can see that many a millionaire don't even have a degree to start with. Which makes me wonder whether a degree is really neccessary in the first place.
What is your opionion on that?

I believe degree is important. You will be having more options compared to those who are not a degree holder. Okey, let's face it there are people who became millionaire's even they don't have degree courses, but can you just wait for that luck? Those people, have guts, determination and luck in pursuing what they really want. Let's compare, in the current situation here in my country, in applying for a job in a company, the human resource segregates those who are undergraduate to the graduates. They give better opportunities to graduates, the salary offer is higher than those undergrads, the benefits and regularization granted to those who are graduates. Why? the company believes that these graduates can be a good value or asset for the company, they gain theoritical and practical training for the job, while those who are undergrad, the company has to look up on what are the trainings they had undergone, most of the time those undergrads fell into position of operators which after 5 months most of the time terminates their service and let them undergo into an agency in able to avoid giving them higher pay for the benefits. This is a reality, in able for you to have better option, earn a degree, if you want to be a millionaire, have guts, fashion and luck.

Hi there. I dont think its nescessary to have a degree in order to land a good or job or these days should I say, a simple job... I know a few people with excellent degrees and are finding it so hard to get work, either because there too over qualified and the companies just cant afford to pay wages to a person with such high qualifications or simply because their just isnt any work in that to cater for their expertise...
