how to handle the relationship between friends and lover?

it is a truth that people always confused by the awkward relationship between friends and lover. to be just friends,you are not so content, to be lover, thins actually become more complex. how do you handle it,what's your view on this?

When it really gets complex is when you end up being friends with benifits!!! One may want more, but is too shy to ask. Later in the relationship, the other may want to stop, but won't say anything to hurt the other friend. Ah, love is so complicated!!!

when one wants more, things will get complicated as we never can imagine.friends--lovers,between the two there is a line, to cross or not is a problem. sometimes you even don't know what the exact relationship between you...how awkward and annoying!

i don't agree with you. i think friends are not only entertainment,i always deliver my very emothional things to them, my bad mood, my sadness, my annoyances....to get away our troubles is not lovers that can do, friends also can ,and would do great favor(and of course i mean very close friends).
but what if a person both entertaining and supporting with your true emotions and thoughts? how to define him/her?

It is real a hard problem for most of people. My boyfriend like drinking with his friends and they drink too frequently, so I feel very unhappy, then I tell him my feeling, and he still drinks with his friend, but drink less and less. Then I found that he is not popular among in his friends, becasue they are not singel again, and he has no more free time.
Frankly, i feel very sorry about it, but I think it is bad to drink too much, if they are real friends, they will dont' mind his absence.
