and having big boobs- I have another question for the same crowd--- do you find it difficut to find nice dresses and blouses that are attractive??? I mean when I go shopping I usually look for plain colors- nothing with a lot of print on it - (it tends to make me look even bigger-plus it's easier to mix and match with solids) it seems that they never have anything- the blouses and dresses are always have this God awful print and never a v-neck or sweetheart neckline to be found (I have noticed that v necks and sweethearts look better on me- give me a smoother line). So tell me do anyof you have this problem and if not where do you shop for your clothes?????

I buy few dresses as it they fit the boobs they are way to big in the hips. My brother used to tell his pals that the heels on my shoes were inlaid with steel to stop me tipping over on my face being so top heavy LOL. Blouses I loved but if they fitted across the shoulders they were tight across the girls so I had to put tiny safety pins between the buttons so they would gape. V-necks and tee shirts were my life savers. Men have it too damned easy!

Is that a Freudian Slip Heather? Perhaps a nice blouse and skirt would be better than a dress, although if you were even more well endowed (financially I mean) then you could get your dresses made to measure.

oops meant safety pins so they would NOT gape sorry. I also have to add that when I like anything and it fits I too buy it in every color.

For me buying clothes is a big problem because of my size, am thin so its really hard to get the right size. I also go for plain clothes, those colours that are very bright i don't go for it as it makes me look different from others and it makes me nervous. And am very concious about the fashion that is going on and try to keep up to some standard.

Maybe you should try braving your own path- be different - start a new trend...who cares what everyone else is wearing...wear what you like and what makes you feel comfortable. There is a cartoon on Nick or Disney who's theme song says: "I'm strange and I like it just the way I am...might as well get over it don't try to understand cause I'm strange and I like it just the way I am". BE TRUE....BE YOU!

The problem I and others are facing is that we can't find clothes that actually fit us properly..... which may also be a problem for you. n owever I wear what fits and is comfortable- not what is in style- and I am happy with that.

i dont have big boobs.{i wish i did} but not to big..But my sister had big boobs an she would never wear print tops,it was always plain color tops an v-neck, she would buy her clothes at pennys or khols sometimes at sears. She would wear a push-up bra to give her boobs a nice sexy look so everyone would notice her boobs instead of the rest of her body an she always got complenments about the way she looked.try going to these store an look at their mix an match.an plus the clearance section..she couldnt afford the full price.

didn't you ever hear the expression..."watch what you wish for you just might get it".....well its true - -- I used to hang out with my cousin and she wears a 44 DD bra- when we were teenagers all the guys would flock to her and i would say I wish I had big boobs like her- and low and behold- as I got older - the "girls" got bigger and bigger and bigger-it was fun when i was younger- flaunting the "twins" about, wearing clothes that were too tight and showing off but now I hate it- my back hurts- I can find clothes that fit right - everything looks like a potato sack from the chest down....trust me - you don't want this!!! LOL ... consider yourself lucky!!! Thanks for the tips--- I appreciate it.

Can I answer if I’m not short? I’m tall (5 foot 9) with a large chest- My problem is the shirts and sweaters and tops are all short on me- Normal sizes- my chest takes up room and then the shirts look short- I have to buy the tops that say Longer in length- I hate it- Growing up I always had to wear belts- in order to get jeans to fit me in the length they were big in the waist- LOL not anymore- I buy Levi’s usually and they measure waist and length- Why is finding clothes that fit and look good so hard??

I guess we all have issues with the fashion idustry- to me it seems that they just think of the average person--- they do have a big and tall store for men -- why not for WOMEN....do you have any idea how well that store would do?????? My niece is also very tall and has a lot of problems finding pants and long sleeve shirts- even if they fit when she buys them one wash and they shrink. If we women could find a way to ban together and let the fashion idustry know that we are tired of the average clothes maybe someone would hear us and try opening a new chain of stores that cater to women like us who are wonderfully unique!!!!!

i have trouble buying dresses, as they tend to hang off my boobs and make me look frumpy, as im a few size bigger around my chest than i am around my waist. I steer clear of stripes too or anything with a really heavy print. I dont have many blouses because yes probably like urself, i have trouble getting them to fit and look decent on me.

But of course you can- by all means join the party...lol When I buy a blouse I have to buy it big to fit the "girls" and then the sleeves are always to long. LOL--- why hasn't some one come out with a clothing line for women like us??????

I have a hard time finding anything attractive to fit my big boobs. I have to size up and then the rest of the blouse or shirt is too big and it looks stupid. I mostly shop at Fashion Bug as their stuff fits me pretty good and they have a good selection of v-neck tops that aren't flowery or wild prints. I like just basic v-necks in solid colors, pretty plain stuff. A friend of mine is really big only on top and she has huge issues because she's only a size 8 but she has to buy plus size tops to fit her boobs. She sometimes shops from a catalog called Bellissima which is based in the UK because they have clothes that are made to fit women who are big on top but small everywhere else. THey are very expensive though so I have never bought anything. I used to get the catalog after she recommended it but some very basic shirts were like $50 and that's just too expensive for me so I buy my stuff at The Bug and just keep trying on and trying on.

Well- they have a catalog for bigger women called Roaman's- you can also browse on line- I have bought bathing suits from them - they are wonderful. I like the sound of the Bellissima catalog- not thrilled about the price but for dresses it may be cheaper to buy one thats more expensive that fits then one less expensive that has to be altered- it would probably work out to be the same amount--- thanks for the tip

If it serves for something, from a male point of view, I find busty petite girls incredibly more attractive than tall, statuesque ones, and that clothes (either due to the current fashion trend or a more definite physique) tend to fit them better.
